New Improved Piranha Premium at ECR 2010

This year, during ECR, we will introduce three new products and our improved Piranha Premium system.

Major Piranha Improvements Autumn 2009

The Piranha has now been on the market for three years. Since then a lot of improvements have been done. Such as support for new mammography beam qualities, and improved detector design. All this has been made after listening to the customer demands and in order to improve productivity for the users. Now further major steps are taken to improve productivity and reliability:
• A safer communication without interruptions. All Piranhas delivered from November comes with an Extended Wire-less range – Now up to 100 m with Bluetooth.
• Improved EMC protection, gives undisturbed communication when using laptops.
• Increased waveform storage time, gives improved analysis capabilities.
• High quality case for ease of use as well as safe transports.
• Improved pulse detection means less manual settings.
• Calibrations for CT Straton tubes.

• The Nova is a small affordable system, which gives you a visible check of the alignment of the X-ray and light field. At the same time, the Nova will automatically record and document the X-ray pattern from the digital detector image.

• The T20 Solid State Detector will be hard to miss, although it is “almost not there”. The T20 will allow measurements of the entrance skin exposure on fluoroscopic systems, but is small enough to leave the AEC system undisturbed.

• Ocean Software The newest generation of RTI data acquisition software will be unveiled. This totally new software will interface with RTI Piranhas and Barracudas for a simple and flexible user experience.
