One Shot HVL for Mammography
07 May 12 One shot HVL for mammography is now available to all new Piranhas of version 2 or higher.
One shot HVL is possible both if you are using Ocean or QA Browser, with or without compression paddle.
All Piranhas (version 2 or higher), which are in for re-calibration, will get the one shot HVL feature. -

HVL Filter
Measuring Half Value Layers for Rad and Mammo
Aluminium filter set for measuring half value layers (type 1100, Al 99,0 % purity). The kit can be used in both mammography and radiography and comes in two different sizes:
Small: The set consists of 14 pieces of 33 x 33 mm filters of different thicknesses. 6 x 1 mm, 2 x 0.5 mm, 4 x 0.1 mm, and 2 x 0.05 mm.
