One Shot HVL for Mammography

07 May 12 One shot HVL for mammography is now available to all new Piranhas of version 2 or higher.
One shot HVL is possible both if you are using Ocean or QA Browser, with or without compression paddle.

All Piranhas (version 2 or higher), which are in for re-calibration, will get the one shot HVL feature.

Create a Wireless System

You can choose to connect either a Palm or a PC to your Barracuda and both systems have the opportunity to be totally wireless. To create a wireless system with the Barracuda and a Palm you need to use a Bluetooth adapter attached to the Barracuda. To make the PC wireless connection together with the Barracuda you will also, except from the Barracuda Bluetooth adapter, need a USB Bluetooth PC adapter. Your PC probably contains a built-in Bluetooth already but the PC adapter DTargus Ultra-Mini 2.0 adaptor with EDR is the solution we recommend and support. The ultra-mini, sleek design is ideal for users to connect and forget. Equipped with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR), this Bluetooth 2.0 adaptor allows wireless communication up to 3 times faster than Bluetooth 1.X adaptors.
