  3. One Shot HVL for Mammography

    07 May 12 One shot HVL for mammography is now available to all new Piranhas of version 2 or higher.
    One shot HVL is possible both if you are using Ocean or QA Browser, with or without compression paddle.

    All Piranhas (version 2 or higher), which are in for re-calibration, will get the one shot HVL feature.

Two New Cases

We now introduce two brand new cases. The first is a new standard case for the Piranha. It is smaller than its predecessor and soft-hard. We call it Soft shell case. It is very smooth and good to have if you do not have much accessories for your Piranha system. For those who need larger cases, where all accessories fit, we recommend Piranha ALU-case or Piranha Outdoor Case.

The second case is a new standard hard case for the Barracuda – Barracuda Outdoor Case. With the Barracuda Outdoor Case you are able to carry, transport, and storage, your complete Barracuda in a durable environment. It has space for everything you may need: Cabinet, multi-purpose detector, Palm holder, cables, power supply, R100, L100, MPD holder and HVL stand, HVL filter kit, User's Manuals, and MAS-1 or MAS-2B. There will also be some space for extra probes.
