RTI Piranha Adds Ion Chamber Capability

RTI Electronics has recently increased the versatility of the Piranha multi-meter. With the addition of the new Piranha Bias, Piranha owners now have the choice to use ion chambers with their Piranha. The new Piranha Bias is an optional accessory for Piranhas, and has been optimized for use with CT and Mammo applications. The Piranha Chamber Adapter can be added to any Piranha with electrometer input.

The Piranha Chamber Adapter will support most tri-axial type ion chambers, connected via a proper adapter cable. An adapter is required if the ion chamber is not equipped with a “LEMO type 0” connector used by RTI Electronics.

Special pricing will be offered for the Piranha Bias from October 2011 thru June 2012.
