A growing part in the Dental area is the rotating systems like Panorama, OPG and Cone Beam systems. They are used for creating 3-D images of the teeth and jaw in more complicated procedures.

Checking the dental system

The QA and Service on an intra oral dental system is easy using the Piranha or the Barracuda MPD. One exposure will give you the data you need and you can use the waveform to see the pre-heating and other output information.

In the rotating systems, we recommend you to use the panoramic holder for a fast setup. The Piranha may be preferred since there are no cables at all that may be tangled up during the rotation of the X-ray system.
