The DCT10 RS is rugged, cylindrical pencil shaped air ionization chamber for CTDI measurements. The CT probe is intended for measuring and monitoring the exposure output level of CT scanners in a phantom or in air. CT dose index, CTDI, can be measured in accordance with IEC 61223-2-6.
The DCT10 RS can be connected directly to the Barracuda (via an electrometer module supporting bias) to measure CT dose. Barracuda has built-in functions to simplify measurements of CTDI (CT dose index).
